Shining Among Hong Kong’s Best: S.6 Student Secures Top Ten Spot at the Grantham Outstanding Student Athlete Awards

Our school is incredibly proud to announce that Xiao Jingjing (6A) has been honoured with the prestigious Grantham Outstanding Student Athlete Awards – Ten Sport Excellence Awards. Being named one of the top ten student athletes in Hong Kong for the 2025-2026 academic year is a remarkable milestone that highlights her exceptional talent, versatility, and dedication.

Jingjing has consistently showcased her abilities at the highest levels of school sports, proving herself to be a powerhouse across multiple disciplines. On the track and field, she secured an impressive 3rd place in the Girls Grade A Javelin at the highly competitive Division 1 Inter-school Athletics Competition, followed by a stellar 4th place finish at the All Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Athletics (Team) Tournament. She brought this same signature winning drive to the basketball court, captaining and leading our school team to the Girls Grade A Championship in the Inter-school Basketball Competition (Division 3 Area 1).

Beyond her glittering array of trophies and medals, what makes Jingjing truly stand out is her exemplary character and the positive influence she has on her peers. As a dedicated team leader, she consistently models the importance of a healthy lifestyle, mental well-being, and daily discipline. Successfully balancing the intense academic demands of her final year at Hoi Ping with elite-level sports training is a true testament to her unwavering diligence and exceptional time-management skills. Her grit and persistence make her an outstanding role model for our school community, showing her peers exactly what can be achieved through consistent effort and a commitment to personal growth.
