Science Week 2025: Igniting Curiosity in Young Minds

Date: 07/11/2025

From 3rd to 7th November 2025, our school became a vibrant hub for Science Week 2025, specially designed for junior form students. The event featured diverse programmes aimed at fostering interest in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy. Activities included teacher and student presentations, the S1 Kahoot Sci-Quest Competition, and a creative Physics workshop on optical fiber and UV lamps.

Highlights included the Hong Kong Observatory’s Radiological Survey Vehicle visit and a Chemistry Talk for senior students. Junior students participated in the S3 Inter-Class Chemistry Competition and a Biology Workshop on food waste recycling, while the Astronomy Telescope Workshop offered hands-on experience for budding astronomers.

Feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting their enjoyment and newfound scientific knowledge. The success of the week was made possible by the dedication of our Science department and committee members of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Astronomy Clubs, whose efforts ensured a seamless and inspiring experience, demonstrating that science truly comes alive in a collaborative environment.
