Life Week 2026: The Art of Communication
Date: 07/05/2026
From 4 to 7 May 2026, the Counselling Committee hosted Life Week under the Peer Tutoring Scheme. This year’s theme, “The Art of Communication”, was designed to equip students with practical skills to strengthen their interpersonal connections and foster more meaningful dialogue within the school community.
Throughout the week, the campus came alive with a diverse array of engaging activities. Students participated in insightful assembly sharing sessions and creative Lego workshops, while the festive atmosphere was further enhanced by a cotton candy booth and an ice cream truck. During lunchtime, Secondary 1 students worked closely with their Peer Tutors to manage various game booths. These younger students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility as they actively promoted and managed their activities, showcasing the power of teamwork in action.
The event’s success was also bolstered by our wonderful parent community, who showed tremendous support by hosting gift booths. Their presence helped create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Through these meaningful experiences, students developed the essential ability to express their thoughts clearly and sincerely while practicing empathy in their daily interactions. By exploring the interplay between verbal and non-verbal expressions, they learned how to foster harmonious communication and deepen mutual understanding. Ultimately, Life Week reminded us all that sincere communication is the key to building a smoother, warmer, and more connected school environment.
