Soaring Ambitions: S3 & S4 Students Explore Aircraft Engineering at HAECO

Our S3 and S4 students gained invaluable insight into the world of aircraft engineering through a special visit to HAECO in Hong Kong. This provided a unique opportunity for them to understand the realities of working with aircraft and to learn about the diverse career paths within this dynamic field.

  

The visit commenced with a comprehensive briefing session, during which students acquired valuable knowledge about the various responsibilities of aircraft engineers. A critical message emphasised was the paramount importance of absolute safety in aviation; even a minor error can have severe consequences, thus underscoring the necessity of precision in all operations.

   

Undoubtedly, a significant highlight for many students was the site visit. This offered a rare chance to observe actual aircraft at close quarters and inspect various aircraft components. Witnessing these massive machines and their intricate parts firsthand greatly enhanced their understanding of the complex interplay required to ensure safe flight operations.
