Sports Climbing Fun Day

On 31st January 2026, the Hiking Club held a Sports Climbing Fun Day at Kai Tak East Sports Centre to build students’ strength and perseverance. Guided by Coach Lau Ka Chun from HKCMCU and alumnus Ivan Au Yeung, students practiced hands-on climbing techniques.
With encouragement from the coaches and teacher, participants improved their coordination, grip strength, and confidence. The session allowed students to appreciate the mental focus required by the sport while fostering teamwork and mutual support. Overall, it was an engaging experience that broadened their horizons through the exciting challenge of sport climbing.
