Oxfam’s Infinite Food Design Challenge: Our Students Clinch Runner-Up Title!
Date: 16/05/2026
On 16 May 2026, three of our S.2 students participated in the “Eat Fair Campaign” Infinite Food Design Challenge, organised by Oxfam Hong Kong. After a competitive selection process where judges selected the top five entries to advance to the grand finals, our school’s team achieved the Runner-Up title. Congratulations to Lee Yan Tung (2A), Wong Sze Man (2A), and Chen Cheuk Kiu Mavis (2A) for their commendable effort.
The students designed a zero-waste, budget-friendly, and nutritious lunch set tailored for an elderly community member, Grandma Ying. The team impressed the panel of judges by creating a sustainable meal that utilised a whole pumpkin—including the skin and seeds—paired with nutrient-dense chickpeas.
This achievement highlights our students’ creativity, teamwork, and thoughtful approach to community care. By translating empathy into a practical solution, they demonstrated how young people can contribute to meaningful social causes. Well done to the team for representing our school so well!
