Empathy in Action: S3 Students Serve To Kwa Wan

Moving beyond one-off visits, our S3 students transformed compassion into action within the tenement houses of To Kwa Wan. Through this service learning initiative, students underwent dedicated training before cleaning building common areas and distributing necessities. This eye-opening experience sparked deep reflection on the diverse facets of society and the impact of urban policies.

 

Aligned with our school’s major concerns, this programme purposely cultivates positive, self-driven leaders. By integrating service learning into the curriculum, we guide students to understand social development and step out of their comfort zones, empowering them to take the initiative in actively caring for and uplifting the wider community.
