Hoi Ping Chinese Debating Team Clinches Second Runner-Up at Rookie Debate Competition with Outstanding Individual Honours

Our Chinese Debating Team recently achieved remarkable success at Rookie Debate Competition (青苗辯論盃), securing the Second Runner-Up title. Individual performances were equally stellar: Hau Chit Long (3C) swept three major awards, including “Best Rookie Debater”, “Best Debater”, and “Most Promising Rookie Debater”, while Pong Hiu Wan (4A) was honoured as the “Most Valuable Debater”.

The tournament was a true testament to the legacy and mentorship within the Hoi Ping Debating Team. By fostering close collaboration between senior and junior members, the team has successfully passed its core values to the next generation. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness our debaters’ growth and maturity, from their first steps at the start of the term to their commanding presence in the grand final.

開平中文辯論隊「青苗辯論盃」勇奪季軍

本校中文辯論隊日前於「青苗辯論盃」辯論比賽中表現卓越，勇奪全場季軍。在個人獎項方面，隊員表現同樣亮麗：3C 班侯喆朗同學憑藉出色的口才與邏輯，一人包攬「青苗最佳辯論員」、「最佳辯論員」及「最具潛質青苗辯論員」三項殊榮；而 4A 班龐曉韻同學則憑藉穩健的發揮，榮獲「最有價值辯論員」。

這次比賽充分展現了開平辯論隊薪火相傳的精神，高中與初中隊員間的緊密溝通與協作，學長姐帶領學弟妹共同應戰，發揮團隊力量，見證隊員從學期初至今在決賽台上的蛻變與進步，我們期待辯論隊在未來的賽事中繼續思辨求真，再創佳績。
